Will these guys get along ok?

I currently have a large decorator goby, small scooter blenny, tiny yellow clown goby along with several clowns. My question is that I want a shrimp goby pair and am curious if they will all get along. I know many times it is said you can't put 2 together unless they are introduced together but a watchman looks so different than a decorator I was wondering if they would all get along ok.

"Several" clowns? How many?
What size tank? How much rockwork/sandbed?
Also, a decorator goby does look similar to a watchman... in body shape, at least.

The tank is 2'-2'-30" tall, has a sand base with about 110-120lbs of live rock with lots of crevices. The clown gobie hangs out in the middle of the rock on a ledge. I was hoping the decorator would burrow in the gravel but he hides behind the rock in the back corner. I watched a video of a pistol shrimp-gobie and really think my daughter will love watching the shrimp working on his burrow. Also, would the decorator pair up with the shrimp or is that something that only watchmen gobies do?

A pistol shrimp/goby pr will be fine with your current inhabitants. Although decorator gobies hang out on the sand they do not utilize a burrow so there should be no squabbles over territory between it and a watchman shrimp.

decorators behave pretty much like scooter dragonets. they are constantly exploring the bottom of the tank. i would try a small shrimp goby and randalli pistol shrimp. you need sand, crushed coral, or something of that size for this.

With a 2x2tank, you're at capacity.

Keep an eye on your scooter, it may eventually starve without enough pods.
If you get a small goby and a randall's pistol shrimp, it should be alright.
