will this coral grow back over the skeleton

just as the title say just wondering if this coral will grow back over the skeleton. had an alkalinity problem in my other tank. Let me know what you think?

I've never seen a dead head of euphyllia grow back.

should i just break it off looks like crap with the dead head?

I'd take it off with a dremel.

dead head will stay dead forever .

Dead or dying euph heads i break off. I have seen it spread to other heads and kill off the colony.

I'd remove it with a dremmel or frag/bone cutter. Careful not to crack th whole coral.
