Will this light be OK for a reef?

OK so I went to pet Co and I looked at these led light fixtures, are they good for what I want? Is the cheaper one still good or will I have to get the more expensive one? Money is sort of the issue but if I have to I will get the more higher one.
Woops forgot the pics :) but it won't let me upload them well the cheaper one is the fluval aqua sky led 18 watt 3000-25000k 24"-36" 89$ if I remember right and the more pricy one is the fluval pro marine and reef (that probably is a hint to get this one isn't it?:/) led 25000k 32watt 24"-36" I think it was around 150$

Don't get either. The total wattage would lead me to believe that they're not light. Spend a little extra and get the 24" reefbreeder photon or go cheaper and get that 31.4" marsaqua that you posted above.

Another option is to get the 16" marsaqua, remove the optics, and hang them a little higher to get coverage. If that works, just run them at a higher intensity.

i would go with 16" marsaqua, got 2 on my tank and they cover really good 24-28", in the extremes where the light its lower you can put some lps with less light requirement

PS: sorry for my english, its not my native language

Personally, I would get the 24" reefbreeder photon. Perfect size for your tank and proven to grow anything.

+1 Not to mention the programable feature being a huge plus. I would never go back to a light that didn't offer the capability of sunrise/sunset/moonlight simulation. Once you get the intensity dialed in it's one less thing you have to worry about. Lightning on my tank is an afterthought now.

well if the price is not a issue go for an hydra AI, or ecotech radion.
the reefbreeder photon 24 its almost $330, the marsaqua just $80, and you buy the same leds quality, just with some fancy controller, but the duration is the same because both lights got the same chinese generic leds

Agreed on the reef breeders. I run them on 60% and full sps. Love them.
