will this light timer work for my 24g aquapod?

I have the duel one of those and have yet to hook it up. I have ran over the instructions with 4 vet reefers and all looked at me like i had 3 heads. spring for the digital if you have a choice it has to be easier to set up.

Those are pretty easy to set up. All you do is adjust it to the current time and depress the little tabs to the time and duration you want the light to come on. I have a similar timer and I think the tabs are in 15 min. increments.

You have one or used one?
If so rather then take over the thread could you pm me some of the set up info on it.
I can fix a car that has been wrapped around a tree but can not figure out this duel timer for the life of me!!

i think im just gonna wait on getting the timer. but i did just order all the buffers , chemi pure , and a mag float.

The dual is pretty easy to use. It has one side for daylight and one sie for actincs and when both of the daylight and actincs are off the lunar goes on if you have one in the black slot. Then there is one port for around the clock use. I think it is very well designed myself. Just my input.

On my Aquapod 24 I use the dual model of that timer/powerstrip. When I first read the manual it was very hard to understand how to set it up. Now that I have it running it makes more sense and works great.

I will admit that I had not figured out the part about using the black slot for my lunar lights. Thanks fishes2889!

So with the dual timer I can everything on an Aquapod 24. Actinic 11-9, PC 12-8, lunar LEDs 9pm - 1100am, and the pump runs constantly. The only thing I can't run off that powerstrip/timer is the heater.

I am going to start setting it up tomorrow at work so you may get a pm or 2

He's right (schristi69) I've seen a few pics that have burned-up.
So be careful. I still like a powerstrip and GE timers 3-pronge units.
I have NOT ever had a problem.
