will this stuff work as a replacement to weld-on?

ok so i got some of this stuff(pic at bottom) at lowes yesterday cause i got a fuge that had a crack in the bottom i was told weld on #16 would work but they didnt have it so i got this stuff will it work?

I can't speak for that stuff, as I've never used it.

Get some acrylic chips (like from Lowe's or HD's acrylic cutting area) and put them in a jar with acetone overnight to make your own acrylic glue. Place the chips in the jar and barely cover them with acetone. Stir every couple of hours with a screwdriver or something similar to speed the process.

Wouldn't take a chance. Weldon is professional stuff. I would look in the phone book for plastics shops and start calling until you find one that sell to the public.
