I just got this in the mail today. Water parameters are good.

Cal 410
Alk 9
Mag 1360

This thing looks rough to me but I don't know. The tip is white and some of the polyps are missing or blowing in the breeze. I acclimated it, and placed it low in the tank with the lights on the lowest

Give it a few days. I suggest a horizontal orientation for optimum growth

if you see it receding more and can't return it clip the top part.
