will this work

Hmmm

I think I would stay away from this one.
they say:
"This is a Brand New Jebo Odyssea 700gph internal/external water pump. Pictures are not always exact with Jebo and the packaging changes. What is guaranteed is that you get a new-in-the-box 700gph water pump. Comes with all relevant accesories.

Flow rate: 700GPH. "

First I have not heard of this brand....and second they have a doctored pic of an Eheim pump.
Saying "pics are not always exact and packaging changes" is like saying we will ship whatever we have at the time.

just my 2 cents worth

I'm not sure from your post, but I think you're asking if the mag 7 will be a good return pump from the sump to your tank?

That depends on what you're gonna use for an overflow.

Matching the GPH the overflow drains to the return pump is key. I had to put a ball valve on my drain to restrict the flow because it was draining faster than my return pump could get water back to the display - so i kept losing, then regaining siphon (on a drilled tank, if you're using a HOB you would probably have to manually restart siphon)

I think I would stay away from it, seems a little fishy with a picture of an eheim pump and when they say pictures are not exact would make me think you might get a 700gph piece of junk.

I would spend the extra money and get a mag7 or something comparable. From my experience when you try to go cheap you just end up with something that wont do what you want it to and end up buying the better one eventually anyway.

Not to mention the title of the auction is

Jebo Odyssea Mag 7 Water Pump NEW Free Shipping

I didnt know Jebo made Mag 7s :)

Just as an FYI...Jebo's claim to fame is the little pumps they have in those cheap table top water fountains you can get at Walmart...
