I have one frag of rr asia orange passion and a frag of rr pretty in pink I would like advise on. I have one under 500 par and another under 600 par. I have noticed that the side of the coral that is in the strongest light has decreases p/e compared to the underside of the frags which has decent extension. What do you guys think, too much light? I have read where the pretty in pink needs to be hit good with light to develop its true color potential.
thanks
Jeff

too many factors to determine that question, regardless, a coral will do it's thing in high par, or low par, so long as the tank is stable.

Is the frag currently light-colored or partially bleached? If so, ime then yes the frag would be PAR-sensitive if it's already bleached. Otherwise, unless it's suddenly been moved to much higher PAR, then there should be good PE regardless.

yes both pieces are light colored. Not bleached out. I will try and lower them tomorrow evening. I dont have the clubs par meter so I will just have to guess the par level. I have diy led lighting and my par levels change quite a bit according to which led it is directly under.
thanks
Jeff
