will tunze work with?????

just wanted to know if a tunze 6060 will work with a wave bar that i see my local aquarium store is selling.... i know that the 6060 dont come with any control so that is why i need to know if a wave bar will make it so i can controll the tunze

They are designed to stay on constantly,and not cycled on and off by a wave controller. The constant on and off will significantly shorten the life of the pump.

roger always gives a switching interval of 1hr-minimum...prolly not gonna work on a std wavemaker. a timer might be your best option (besides picking up a controllable 6000)

The wavebar ill destroy the pump. Unlike your ordinary powerheads the prop only works spinning one way. Because of this we have to add a clutch that stops a backwards rotation and this is destroyed by constant on and off use.
