I have done some researcher but so far these are really the top 3 fish i want to keep in a 150G and upgrading next year to a 300G



Scarus quoyi
Naso Blond Tang
Bluethroat Trigger


will they be good together? any thoughts? I really love Tangs. if this tang inst good please suggest another .

I have never had a Scarus Quoyi so can't comment (did come across this thread when searching http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1362663). Also never had a bluethroat trigger so no comment there.

Your system is too small for the blonde naso tang. I should know as I have one in my 150, and he needs to be rehomed.

These tangs should be OK in your system:
- A yellow, purple or scopas tang
- A bristle tooth tang like tomini or cole tang
- A powder blue or powder brown (these are not beginner fish though, not sure what your experience level is)

Kind of agree with this, but if you're really upgrading to a 300 shortly, then I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get a Naso in the meantime.

As for the Bluethroat, it should be fine if you have a fairly open aquascape and don't add too many other active swimmers.

Not sure on the other fish.
