Will Xenia grow on GHA

I recently got some pulsing xenia and wanted to know if I placed it over one of my liverocks covered in green hair algae will the xenia kill the algae and keep growing eventually overtaking the gha? Figured I'd kill two birds w/1 stone, will it work?

I think it will be fine Xenia will just about grow in my kitchen sink.

yes it will to an extent. Its not gonna get rid of the algae by any means...the algae will simply spread somewhere else. But in my tank i've got xenia growing over a patch of it right now

It has to be short algae though...it cant be long
