windex

I wouldn't spray it directly on the glass. I even go to another room and wet the towel then go in and clean the glass. I've never had a problem.

Aquarium Pharma...makes little towelettes that work great for me. Comes in a little dispenser like Clorox wipes.

Eh I just use windex. You're gonna get mixed opinions on it but realistically i see no harm if i spray it on the towel and wipe it on the glass.

I use a car window cleaner. Forget the name brand, but it works much better than windex. I spray it on a micro fiber towel and clean away. I tried the "aquarium" glass cleaners, but they didn't work well and are expensive.

Vingar and water here. It works good. Almost as good as windex. I was using windex with no ill effects.

do you use the really good stuff with ammonia-D ? :D

my main concern is ammonia in the product.
my secondary concern is all the other crap I have no clue about.
if you can smell it, the water is also absorbing it
I keep all alien chemistry away from my system just as a general practice. but that's just me.

Don't even get me started about Windex lol, there are several types out there, i work at Wal-mart stocking chemicals every day, get tired of seeing it lol. I would use just water or water/vintager and dry off with newspaper leaves a streak free shine :D

I wash down first with tap water, let dry (ish) and then rub down with rubbing alchohol, used sparingly. Works great.

i dont use windex, especially the kinda with Ammonia in it. i use the glass cleaner AP makes. i have had the same bottle for years now LOL. most the time i just wipe the glass with a clean towel.

Aquarium Pharmaceuticals and Tetra sell safe glass cleaners- specifically for tanks. I also use vinegar but I like that this stuff has no odor and a little goes a long way. Bought it at Petco a year ago. It's called Safe and Easy- no ammonia.
