Window Reflection Issue

Hi all,

I recently ordered a lens and gel pack set for my phone so I can take some decent pictures of my tank. I have one major hurdle that I'm struggling with though. My tank is directly opposite the room from a large window and unless it's almost completely dark outside I get reflections off the tank glass even when the blinds are closed.

Putting the lens directly against the tank glass works great, unless I want a wider shot.

Anyone have any creative suggestions?

Hold a polarized lens in front of the aperture or wait until sundown.
