Wiring Question

Before I start dismantle my lights I need to ask a question. Im planning on replacing 2 of my T5's a 2-175mH....I want to remove my 2 center bulbls with 2 Mh fixtures, is there a way to by past the 2 center T5's so the rest of the bulbs will works. I know if you remove one of the bulbs the fixture dont work. I spend some time and wiring my light to make it look neat. just wondering if possible to by past the bulbs.

You need to get a wiring diagram for the ballast(s), and see what changes they require to do a different number of bulbs. I know with my icecaps, the wiring diagrams change pretty significantly depending on whether you are running 2, 3, or 4 bulbs.

weird i thought they would be wired in parallel so that you can take out a buld and it will still run, the way you say it is in series

Yep makes it bad because I had a bulb burn out....which made all the bulbs on that ballast not work.....So now I keep a spare bulb handy
