Wishful thinking

I have/had a mantis shrimp in my tank for 1 year. Everynight when i turn the lights off he makes his "click click" noise.for the last 2 weeks i have not heard a sound from him. Is he dead, asleep,hibernating?

DId I get real lucky here?

I didn't hear from(or see) my little mantis for almost a week, then he popped up with a nice new shade of green

He's done. heard him today. Its like if i did not say anything he would of been gone.. I new it was wishful thinking.
