WISPS of "SMOKE" FROM BTA

Came home today and noticed what appeared to be wisps of smoke coming from one of the tentacles on a red BTA in my tank. Never seen this before. Don't know how long it had been going on, but must have done it for good 20 minutes or more after I observed it. Any ideas?

Could be sperm or egg release. Any snails or such near the anemone? If not, it very well could be the nem itself.

Most likely male gametes or pre-release of egg follicle cells, shortly followed by actual eggs.
