WLAN module signal strength?

Is there by any means possible to see how strong WLAN signal the unit receives? Have some problems communicating with my Profilux over the network. When I put the unit next to the WLAN accesspoint, my computer connects to the Profilux within seconds. But when I move the Profilux to the aquarium, I only (after a while) get the message "cannot connect...."

Distance between Profilux (at the tank) and accesspoint is no more than 15 feet. WLAN signal strength at the aquarium measured with my laptop is "excellent".

Seems like there is something wrong with the WLAN card in the Profilux?

I got the same problem. distance is only about 10 meters.
it works sometimes. how can we fix this.

you can go to any computer store and buy a powered antenna, that will replace the existing one, and should give you more range than youll know what to do with.
