Wobbygong Shark Pics

I did a little LFS tour recently and saw this Wobbygong shark acclimating so I took a couple pictures. I wish I had a better picture of it's head. It's really cool. I had never seen one of these fish before. They said it was sold to a person setting up a new tank.

Agreed Pitstop, especially since it's sold to a person setting up a new tank :(

The people setting up the tank will make sure it is ready. They wanted to fish ordered early to make sure it's eating and happy before it's moved again. Which is not to say I don't agree with you about keeping some fish in the ocean not in tanks.

So they plan on setting up a tank and leaving this shark there for a couple months? I figure it should wait that long since an animal as delicate as this needs the most stable environment allowed.

It would probably take a tank that is sufficiently sized (500 gallons?) a while to get setup and stabilized.. Right?
