Can some women step up in this forum and show me what the opposite sex can do with a reef tank Please! I know when it comes to decor and aquascape a womans touch has to be unique. Show me whatcha got ladies. Besides that this is the thread to show us males this hobby isnt just about geeky guys with pocket protectors who dig fish, and hey if you feel the need jump in the pick too more power to ya. Maybe there should be a reef calendar girl contest too. Ok sick mind....Never the less Id love to see how the ladies do it...
 
Unbelieveable :rolleye1: If you wanna find females in the hobby, you could troll a lot of the threads and find quite a few actually. :lol: You should join a reef club and see that most of us aren't "geeky", at least in Wisconsin anyway. :)

LMAO I can see it now soon the feminist will be beating me up at my car. I started it so I deserve it I suppose.

Ill try and recruit them to hold up the new top of line Skimmer for the new January pin up lol....God help me....
 
First off, NO I am not a woman but I have to admit that my wife basically told me how to place all the live rock in my tank. So she receives all credit for my aquascaping, will place a picture later. She also designed the stand and canopy, now I did do the sawing, drilling, nailing, etc. How many of you guys can be man enough to admit this. :)

Thanks, yes I meant to mention you can check out some stuff in my gallery. Now things have definitely grown and I have to update those pictures. I had a little Calcium and Alk problem a little while ago that has been fixed, I hope.
 
Yeah baby! Let's see some female flesh! I too have to give props to my wife for her enthusiasm and design efforts. I am one of those people who love building not decorating. Decorating is for females or somone in touch with their feminine side. Before any feelings get hurt by that comment, I would like to say that it also takes reefer knowledge and investigating because, you can't just put the corals anywhere. My acropora might be a tankmate of my frogspawn, but they're DISTANT friends. Any woman who can say she can do it all should not just be in a callendar but on my wallpaper. You might be able to start an erotic tank maintenance service:-)
 
I'll tell you what. My wife Jen is very hands on with our tanks. I'll bet she can give most guys in this hobby a run for their money.
