Wondering if this container will do for storing saltwater or RO/DI

Wanted to make sure this container i have in mind won't leach anything bad into the water, I'm looking for a 20-25G container but i can't find anything that will fit in my closet and now came across these at walmart....what do you guys think, will it work?


Ill buy two, one for RO/DI and one fore Saltwater.

I have no idea, if the material its made of would be safe. But, I noticed that it has wheels, and wonder it it would hold any water to begin with.

Any idea on what i can use for storing 20 G of RO/DI and 20G of saltwater in a container that doesn't take up as much space as a bulky Brute, I'm just tight on space. Im looking for something local ex. walmart, homdepot, loses, canadian tire...ect.

I was thinking about the acrylic reservoir but I was hoping there was a cheaper option,

Thought about aquarium tanks but didn't want glass.

Look into dog food containers, that should be the size you're looking for.

There are many cheaper options but I particularly like the Den Hartog vertical water storage tanks. This is a polyethylene container with gradations on the side. The containers are semi-translucent so you can see the water level and they have a bulkhead fitting at the bottom so you can attach a ball valve to make a spigot. I particularly like having the gradations because I know exactly how many cups of salt I need to add to mix up new water after I have filled up the tank from my RO unit. A 20 or 25g size will set you back about $70, maybe less, maybe more if you need it shipped.

There is a few Brute sized available, including a 20 gal. Although I have no experience with this, here is another Rubbermaid can (23 Gal. Slim Jim) that might work:
