worm and crab from live rock?

i put a piece of cycled live rock in my tank yesterday and all these creatures are appearing. Good or bad? still need a good pic of crab, but he is about 3cm long, quite big, brown and hairy all over. what could he be?

Not so sure. In my experience the ugly hairy crabs can be destructive. You could wait and see if he causes trouble before taking him out.

For example, I had on that lived on a particular coral. That coral never grew a millimeter until I finally grabed him. Then the coral blossomed. I have to assume it was the crab's fault. One of the guys that owns an LFS near hear calls them "gorilla crabs".

good luck trying to catch it., i always put new liverock in my refugium first..., that way i can see whats in it before i introduce it to my main tank..
