Worm eating snail?

OK so i have 29gallon reef thats been setup for almost 10years now. Over time i have had my ups and downs but its done well. As the years have gone by i have had snails die pretty consistently. Recently though i have been more diligent and seeing that the snails are covered in a mucus that encloses the whole snail and almost always the shells are in the same spot. The last couple months i have found a very large worm eating them (20snails this month). Now i know the first thought is fireworm but this was smooth as could be and it was dark so i couldnt see color real good. My question is that if this is worm is killling my snails all these years how do i get him out. The last couple years i have been 6line wrasseless but this damn worm is big. Arrow crab maybe? CBS? Any other thoughts.
