Worm ID

[Calappidae]

Anybody know what this guy is? Sorry for poor quality but all the details are pretty visible. He has two little antennas but other than that here he is.

I actually have been seeing several of these 8"+ starting to appear.. the one I filmed is very tiny. As long as they pose no threat to the mantis I'm not worried.


I did catch one and they are more than capable of swimming like an eel.

For marine worm identifications, we need to see it's head structures with up close and in focus pictures, which is a very difficult thing to do with live worms.
