Worm ID

I found this crawling around in my tank. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

After doing a couple hours of searching around for worms that looked like this, I stumbled across the a picture of a brittle star (Class Ophiuroidea), and realize the striking resemblance now. I guess it just hadn't come out far enough for me to see it's other legs, so I just assumed it to be a worm.

I'm pretty excited now with this find since it came with the rock.

its a bristle starfish not need to worry bout what it can do. so if its an hitch hiker and its not a crab colored black dont worry bout it.

I spotted my third starfish (same kind as before) in the tank today. I fed the one some sundried babyshrimp, and the other two decided to come out of hiding...I wonder if anymore will appear. They all seem to be up inside of the rock, as I can only see their arms coming out of holes in the rock.

They're cute little things, you rarely see more than their legs waving out of the rocks. Chances are if you have one, you have a lot. Look for them at night with a flashlight.
