worm in my Zoo's

Currently I am working on my first reef tank which I am doing softies.

I bought a new green Zoo rock that I like a lot.

Last night I was watching it and some polyps were closing. When I looked closer I saw a orange worm on them. I thought it was a fireworm but it came out a little and it was half orange and half another color? This is most likely a bristle half and half right?

Do harmless worms ever do this to corals?

Most likely a harmless, detrivore bristleworm. Did it look like this?
