Worm Maybe???

Hey guys, I can't get a pic of these little guys but do you have any idea what they are.

They are so small, almost the size of a human hair, brown in color. When they stretch out, they look like a dirty straned of a spider wed.

They are coming out from underneath a rock and towards my elegance coral. And when they touch it, the coral graws back. I definetley think the elegance hates them.

Ok, I think they are spaghetti or hair worms. But everything I have read says they aren't bad. So why are they messing with my elegance???

I checked it. Everything looked ok. There is a white spot on the very edge of the elegance next to the tentacles where the worm was touching. I took no chances and moved the rock then sucked up the hair worm with a turkey baster and down the drain.

I also found a good way to kill anything real quick with deadly accuracy. You just have to take the rock or whatever out of the tank to do it.

A quick jet of liquid CO2(Computer Air Duster) does the trick. Just turn the can upside down and a quick squirt. Immediately freezes anything.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know it is CO2, but I don't think that little bit will make the PH go down.
