worm!!!!

I spotted a centipede looking thing not more than a quarter of an inch long (prolly smaller) crawling around on my LR tonight... What in the world is it?? Is it good, bad, a good sign, or a bad sign??

It appears to hate the light and I spotted it with a flash light so I think it would be almost impossible to snap a picture...
