I have 2 mp40 right now, thinking about switching over to 2 tunze. At first, I was going to get the 6095. The place I am planning on getting doesn't carry them. Would 2 6105 be overkill for my tank? it is a 4x2x2', I will connect it to the apex.
It really depends on inhabitants, I can see using 2 6105 turned down on a 120 SPS intensive tank, however, if it is a more soft corals, anemones or LPS, the 6095's are the best choice.
They are strong pumps for that tank, you can turn down the flow, run the wide flow housings and 12V and it should work. As the corals adapt 18V might be possible.
I have 3 6105's running wide flow housings and 24V jumpers in my 120 (4'x2'x2') SPS tank and my SPS love it. I do have a RBTA that doesn't extend near like it did before I got these pumps. Next time I move stuff around I plan to take the rock out that it's attached to and put it in one of my other tanks.
