Would adding more flow casue problems?

I wanted to know if I added some more flow would if cause problems with more water getting behind the rock? Would the dead zones that may be hidden in and around the rock become oxygenated and cause the bacteria to die and cause problems? Thanks, Tim

Uhm. How much flow do you have now? What is your tank and sump size? How much flow are you thinking of adding?

Tank info is above and I have about 7800 and I am thinking of adding another 2000-3000. TIA, Tim

You need to give alot more info ie: what Tunzes/Seio's/return pump etc.

I have a Tunze 6060 and Seio 1100 on my 65 so I don't think you're going to have any problems.

It wasn't so much as too much flow but adding more flow disturbing bacteria that has sat for months. Thanks, Tim

If you have a lot of gunk back there, you'll break it lose which will do you a lot of good. You're not going to disturb the bacteria as it is coated to the rock and everything else. It can be "blown" off per se.
