Would love to add 2 new tangs

I currently have a small/medium hippo tang and i'd like to add the powder blue with the achiles tang at the same time. I was advised to add both tangs together as opposed to one at a time but i always want to double check with you guys. I plan to quarantine my new additions so should i have the hippo in there as well for the 3 of them to get used to each other in the quarantine tank or just quarantine the powder blue and achilles by themselves?

How big a tank do you have? The 2 new additions are going to need some room, if they are on top of each other they won't get along and both of those fish are really susceptible to stress issues.

Regardless, adding a powder blue and an achilles would be a poor choice.

My PB died about a week after I added him, i still dont know the reason. That's why now i'm even more apprehensive to add another one

What happened to these fish? 150 gl. 1 foxface, 1 tomini, 1 powder brown and 1 sailfin tang
If all you have is a Blue tang and PBT, you can added another tang. Depends on which tang and what size. PBT is a very aggressive fish that should be added last. Which on you have in mind?
I think Sailfin tangs will get too big for a 150.

I had a bad case of ich so it's safe to say I emptied my tank for a while and then started from scratch

so far so good but I definitely dont want to make the same mistakes I made before

The above thread indicates you lost a "PB" tang not more than a month ago.

The best advice I can give you is (again) do not add any more fish. Give your tank time. You are trying to add too many delicate/high maintenance/high mortality fish to a tank that is not suitable.

As much as i hate your advice, im afraid you are right. All my water parameters are in check (nitrates, nitrites, phosphates, PH, etc) yet these delicate fish don't make it more than a few days. I wish I knew the reason at least...

You are right, currently he is between small and medium so i'm not there yet but your point is well taken
