would the 3-tank method work on a stingray?

to reduce or relinquish the possibility of the stingray carrying ich, would the 3-tank method work? i'm not sure since the stingray does a lot of swimming on the bottom base of the tank.

i guess Quinine sulfate/Crypto-Pro is another option.

I wouldn't be too concerned with cryptocaryon. It is unlikely, but I have had issues with Oodinum in nurse sharks. I have found chloroquine to safe and effective in both telosts and elamsobranchs when copper is contraindicated. I am not a fan of hypo, nor does it work for oodinium.

Quinine is easier to obtain and cheaper if you have concerns. IME it is not ectoparasites but instead worms that sharks and rays love to host.

You should read the elasmobranch husbandry manual - it is a get primer and then some. Google it.

BTW - I liken the 3 tank methond to the rhythm method.
