Would this be overstocking my tank?

I currently have 2 false clowns, a small yellow tang, 1 neon goby, and 1 three stripe damsel in my 75 gallon.

I'm not too sure on how the rule goes for how many fish can be allowed, but I'm thinking about buying these today:
-4 green chromis
-flame angel
-diamond goby

Would adding these 6 fish overstock my tank? If so, what should I cut out?

I'm also getting a randalli pistol shrimp. Should I replace the diamond goby above with another type that would form a symbiotic relationship?

I wouldn't add the Flame Angel with that group. That's a fairly large amount of fish to be adding at once, but the others are fairly hardy. Flame Angels can be rather susceptable to ich when being transfered or moved to another tank. I'd add the chromis and the goby, wait a couple of weeks to let everything settle in a bit, and, THEN, add the Flame Angel if you were still interested and a water sample checked out.

On the pistol shrimp, I must warn you, the clacking of their claws can be rather annoying. And be rather, I mean, really, super, god-awful annoying. At least, if the tank is located anywhere near where you relax or sleep! If you are interested in the behavior of a symbiotic relationship, then, by all means, put something different that a diamond goby in there. However, if you don't care about that behavior, diamond gobies can live with pistol shrimp. There just won't be any symbiosis.

Let's say I decided to keep the diamond goby, and got rid of the flame angel entirely. Would adding another goby that is symbiotic with the shrimp be a problem?

Also...explain more about the snapping? That sounds...interesting. How loud is it?

It sounds like a really really loud pop. Sometimes people think it is their tank cracking. I have a tiger pistol with a pink and blue shrimp goby. They are the most amazing pair, and I wouldnt trade them for anything. The only time my pistol pops is when he is cracking a hermit's shell that the goby delivered to him for dinner, or when he is extremely defensive. Its not that often, and it doesnt bother me at all. After 3 months, it still makes me smile. I love watching the shrimp digging and expanding the burrow that he lives in. He has given my sand bed a really pretty natural look. If you do want a shrimp/goby pair, try to find a goby that is considered a "shrimp goby." The yasha goby would look great with the randalli pistol!

It can be a pretty loud pop. *Most* specimens don't do it that often. It always seens to be the ones that end up in bedroom tanks that are the loudest and most frequent poppers as a cruel joke of nature. =P
