Would this work to save crabs from Interceptor?

If you're afraid of them bringing the red bugs back in after putting them in the holding tank, trap them and bring them to your lfs instead of using the holding tank. Then once the tank is done being treated go back and get a new cleanup crew.

i already have a refugium plumbed to the main tank that i will disconnect when i start the treatment. i plan on leaving it disconnected for about a week or so after the treatment to make sure any red bugs are long starved to death and all the interceptor is out of the main tank. i also i have liverock in there without any SPS tissue on it to repopulate my pods and mini brittle stars. unfortunatly i have dont have any dead coral (not a bad thing if you ask me) for the acro crab, just live rock and rubble. as far as snails go i didnt think they were harmed by the treatment so im leaving some in the tank.

Too bad you value the life of an animal more because it cost $33 extra.

My advice would be to remove the live rock into a holding tub to access ALL the shrimp; Then return the rock to the tank.

Although I see what your saying...

What about the lives of the red bugs? Do you not value them because they happen to get their sustinence from something you intend to keep? Or the thousands or copepods, amphipods, and other unknown crustaceans in your tank?

lol, i did my best to save all the mini brittle stars (the ones i named anway).....crap, i even go to the trouble of fishing copopods out of the sink when i rinse the sponge on my skimmer!
