Hey guys wanted to get your opinion on my frogspawn. It fell off the rocks due to I'm assuming a hermit crab and probably sat there for a day bc I was out of town. Now it's not opening up and there is a small amount of tissue damage. Let me know if I you think I should do anything to try and help ward off brown jelly or what not

be patient I used a $15 Fs head as test subject......took several months to get full polyp extension at one point I was going to toss it but threw it under an overhang and forgot about now's its budding 4 new head's and has split

A week or 2? Something like that.

It's definitely getting worse. No infection or anything like that, but more and more of the skeletal ridges are coming into view

If it pops off, gather the wounded head in a shallow glass dish it can't escape and keep your calcium steady: they can grow new skeleton and start over.

Okay thank you! Has anyone ever tried super gluing over the damaged portion? I'd prob be too big of a wuss to do it, but am still curious.

It will regrow even if the whole thing melted. As long as parameters are fine, in a few weeks or month new head will regrow. Glue will not adhere to the flesh. Let it decide what happen to itself.
