Would you call these parameters stable?

Hey Now all,

I am in the process of trying to find out how much b-ionics and what I need to dose to keep my 50 gallon as stable as can be.

I have tested over the course of three days.

The following are the lowest and highest ranges over three days.
lowest highest
kh: 9.4 - 10.4
Ca: 390 - 410
temp:80 - 82
Ph: 8.1 at nite 8.3 daytime

What do you think?

thanks!

take care,
Jared

i would say you need a larger sample size, test every day/other day for two weeks, then you;ll have a better view. give us a graph, did those values go up and down, or just down, or just up? you've got excel, use it.

Over 3 days ranging form 9.4-10.4 Dkh? I would not call that stable.

You will get a better idea of how much b-ionic to use as time goes on.

Hi Jared you have to monitor the concentration of magnesium also it has to be at least 1250ppm to 1350ppm that goes hand in hand with ca and alk i use c-balance almost the same as b-ionic i have a 30 gal tank and i use daily 10ml of each component to maintain stable parameters i have over 26 frags of sps here are my tank parameters alk 7.6 dkh,ca 420,mg 1380ppm,ph 8.2,temp 82-83 i tested my tank parameters 3 times a week for 2 weeks before using c-balance and i started with only 7.5 ml but since my corals are growing i had to adjust the dose to my tank.
