Would you put this back in your tank?

Hey guys

Attached is a photo of a 1 year old UV sterilizer. It's the Coralife 6x, I noticed a tiny leak as soon as I touched it to do annual service bulb change.

When I opened it the water was mixing in with the wiring harness, so the gasket failed there, and also mid way down. Basically all gaskets failed.
I ordered a new bulb and new gasket kit and removed it from the tank

Problem is, when you look inside it looks like the metal reflector panel film on the walls is rusting!!!
This is only affecting the top half of the reflective film closest where the light was.

Should I scrub this off and put it back in there, or remove the reflective film, or just dump this relatively new UV light?

Ive decided not to put it back in.
I contacted Coralife and I showed them the photos and they are sending a paid shipping label to take it back and issue me a check with proof of receipt.

Do not put that back in. You're basically putting rust in to your tank.
