Well if you just leave it for awhile it will probably starve. I actually kept some of these in a small tank about 2 years ago with a small blenny and a ton of amphipods. They ate all the amphipods and then blenny ate them and the amphipods. Then the isopods started eatting each other until there were none left. Then the amphipods showed back up and I moved the blenny to my main tank and now all thats left in the tank are amphipods that i grow for my main tank. Back to you though, you could just not feed your tank if nothing is in there yet and they should starve.
Probably not. I had hermits in with them and they never bothered them. I did see the hermits eatting them occasionally though. I had a ton in there lol.
is it usuall to have? is it something everyone has? couse now i just found a nother specie isopod in the same tank, and im pretty angry right now! should i demand my money back?
yeah sure
Their pretty slow svimmers and dont react fast so im really wondering if they can be parasitic at all i poked a net on a couple of them and they didnt seem to be able to swim they just walked on the rock, dont seem to be scared of daylight either
just wait a minute need to get to come out from ther hiding plases again
I had some very similar to yours in my clownfish tank. I found this diagram on the web....maybe it will help you identify them.
I waited until the lights went out several days in a row, and used tweezers to catch them all. I did not want to take a chance. I have not seen them in 6 months or more.
