Wow I just got my first eggs!

Okay I'm probably making a big deal out of it but I'm happy!!!

My clowns just laid there first clutch of eggs(or at least thats what I am assuming they are)!!! I went to feed them today and they both seemed way overly aggressive towards my hand and then they went right back to the rock beneath the frogspawn and as I looked at them I saw the male was really guarding the spot right behind him so when he moved I got my first glance.

I know this might be a stupid question but is there any chance that any of these little guys will survive? Is there anything I should do? And how long till they hatch?

I think it's about 7 days to hatch, but not sure. THey won't survive unless moved to their own tank and provided with rotifers as thier first food. Good luck

okay, so I woke up this morning and went to go look in the tank and the eggs were just gone!!! all of them!!!

I only have a yellow tang and two clowns and a brittle star could one of them ate them or does this just happen

by the way i guess they could have been there longer and i not have noticed but i though they were only there about 3 days

Awesome! Congrats on the kids. I'll be way excited when my clowns lay eggs, but I would imagine that it'll probably be a while.

Crazy they all hatched (I guess) and they started laying again in just a few days! I actually caught it on video this time. I will post it tomorrow
