wow what caused my clam to die but looked perfect yesterday?

Hi just woundering if there are any ideas to how a clam of mine which seemed to be thriving just shrivled up and died today? and every other coral and fish are perfectly fine and water also any ideas I just dont want this to happen with my next clam. thanks
