Wow

Just swung by ART to see if the new big shipment came in....well it had.

The corals are outstanding, mostly SPS and at least 90 of them. There were gigas and other clams, anemones as well.

The big tank was full....and someone (wayne and amanda) beta me to some of the best.

I was totally blown away...never seen so many SPS in one place for sale.

paul dont take my corals Art has some serious SPS and mushrooms. very nice selections. come quickly or else all the goodies are gone. they also have some really rare christmas wrasses. way to go emily and gary...finally some sps in town

Guys, I was blown away by the quality and colors of the corals. I stopped by there myself before lunch and picked out a few. There are some incredible blue and lime green corals. He's got a ton, but you'd better get there soon if you want some.

I agree, I stopped by up there on my lunch hour, and they are SWEET!

Plus, he has a bunch of rainfordii gobies for sale. I have been wanting to pick one of those up, so I finally have a fish in my 10 gal!

I heard his side of the story and it sounds like it was just in jest that he mentioned about his store. is one violation warrant such a harsh punishment given the fact that Gary is a great contributor and and a big asset to our board. we should speak up about this since his ban effect our board more so than RC in general....how about a pardon Mod?

The rules of ReefCentral prevent the advertising of ones personal business. I agree its pretty harsh when it is mentioned in response to someone looking for something.

It was for this reason that we pushed getting the Local Fish Store Blogs on the website up and running. That allows Gary, Steve, Scott and any of the other LFS to post what they ahve going on and keep us informed. So far it has worked well.

We have also added the blog introductions to the front page, any time you go to www.mycomas.com you will see as part of the front page the news of the club as well as the individual entries in the LFS blogs.

i think this has to say alot!!!!

if he wanted to advertise/make sales here on RC he should have setup his own form per RC rules

I made it down to the city this evening and yes, wow. That tank is full of coral. I did not get to speak to Gary, but was told what had happened. Too bad....

I am glad you speak your mind!! If you feel you need to take stabs at folks take it to the pm side. Gary and Emily are good people. Mistakes happen. We don't need to keep running him under the bus. Enough said. Have a great evening.

Rules are bent all over the RC forums...it is incredibly evident in several of the club forums that certain stores have customers that are friends and post "unbiased" info. I've heard it a lot all over the country - "Hey dude post XYZ on RC and I'll give you a frag of this or that. Keep in mind that Reef Central is a for profit company - yes lots of valuable info is available on these forums but RC needs $$$$ to operate and they have a protocol and rules to protect their financial interests. BTW glad to hear of Gary's shipment...can't see the pics on COMAS - what up?

PS - here comes my warning now - damn I wish I could figure out when to keep my mouth, er fingers quiet [similar advice from my wife...].
