I just had a look at the comas site at the pics. While my old eyes can't read all of the prices on the tanks, They look reasonable to me. If you " know how the bussiness works", then you know that the price of each coral isn't just marked up from the price he pays for the one piece. There are a ton of other costs involved. Pieces that arrive dead, the cost of shipping, the cost of setting up and running the tanks they are displayed in, the cost of opening the front door every day, all have to be considered in the final price. The cost of just doing bussiness from a brick and mortar store, is staggering to say the least. I had a simple 1000 sq ft record store in OKC, and the bills were $250 per day before i made a dime. I also owned a vacuum and sewing store, that had a bill of almost $400 per day. I would hate to see what Gary's bills look like. I would bet OG&E gets $1000 a month if not more from him. If you want him to sell his merchandise for a $5 markup, give OG&E, ONG, AT&T, his landlord, book keeper, insurance company, and Oklahoma state tax commission a call, and inform them that they should stop charging him so much overhead, so he can do that.
I lived in OKC for 38 years, and never have i seen a store with the quality and selection of stock that Gary has managed to put together, plus you also have a store owner with actual knowledge about his product. That alone is worth paying for. If i still lived there, Gary could buy his wife that house she always wanted lol.
