WP40 review coming.

I purchased the wp40 with Lawrence, and one of the power supplies fried after day2. Contacted Eric at fish-street and he put another one in the mail that day at no charge. They have seem to be very professional and supportive at least in my dealings.

When it fried up did you see anything that would seem like it would cause a house fire?

It probably was a whole day before I checked it. To be honest I am not sure what it takes for it to catch on fire. I had it on a controller, not sure if that helped or not. The power supply itself was melted where the sticker was on back. It had that electrical burnt smell if you are familiar with it. HTH

hello, I have one for almost 2 months now it works great! no complaints a this time.

thanks,
John

GO KINGS!!

Mine works great still and while in the begining the thought of the sensor to put it into night mode being on the controller being a bad idea. I have changed my mind as the sensor is very sensetive. When the house is dark the pump calms down 50% so my fish can sleep. So far pretty solid for a inexpensive pump. With that said I still like Tunze and just purchased a 6255 to add flow to my new System. This pump is a beast! Thought it was going to blow a seem it flows so much.

I had to buy the variable power supply. Full power is too much for a 4' tank IMO.

I, like a jack-*** did not get the sensor. I thought the sensor was a piece of crap and didn't get it. I just put it on a timer and it works for me.

PS: I didn't know that calling myself a donkey was bad.
