I'm New to West Palm Beach. I have taken my mask and snorkel out to the beach by my condo. Not that impressive when looking for wildlife. So where are the beaches where I might actually be able to swim with some scenery near the beach? Thanks for your help!

Ok well we went to some park near the inlet in Jupiter. That was pretty cool. I love to snorkel and watch the fish. Are there any more cool spots that are crazy with underwater sealife? Thanks!

Ben,

Although I live in West Palm, I don't really know the best snorkeling spots (I know, shame on me!). If you post your question on the PBMAS site as well, I'm sure someone would be able to point you in the right direction.

There's one on Singer Island - John D. McArther State Park. Another is just off the Breakers in Palm Beach - but I'm not sure how to access it unless you're staying at the Breakers. You could call and ask.

unless you're staying at the breakers, you can only access the reef by boat. mcarthur state park is nice, and there is another one in boynton, i believe off of hypoluxo and a1a

well, the beach I go to is right next to the breakers. I don't have a boat so I was looking for a place to swim to from the beach. I will have to check out these other places you mentioned. please keep the suggestions coming. Thanks!
