Wrasse biting own tail fin

Wow, I thought I had seen plenty in this new hobby. Until today. My Christmas Wrasse is going in circles biting his own tail fin. To make matters worse, my DT went fallow for 6 weeks while new fish were in QT to clear any marine velvet. The wrasse came in with fin rot which I treated. Now this. Sure hope I don't have some other parasite lurking in the weeds...

Any ideas? I doubt he likes the taste of his own tail...

My bicolor blenny sometimes does this. Hopefully it isn't parasites. He was quarantined.

could have had a relapse. Is he still eating good?

Eating well. I don't see him biting his tail as much today or yesterday as he was... I will have to keep an eye on it.

My Melanurus chases his tail once and a while... no biting though.
