I was wondering if anyone has heard of wrasse being successfully bred in captivity. If so, what kind. A professor of mine talks about the bluehead wrasse a lot in class but I didnt know if it was one that could be bred. I am interested in anything right now. I could possibly use my breeding as an undergraduate research opportunity and get it funded by the government. I am going to propose my clownfish breeding this fall as a research project. If anyone has any suggestions on possible research in the marine aquarium, send them by me and I will see what I can research to better our marine aquariums.

Sort of. Our local club's, Central Oklahoma Marine Aquarium Society, president has had his Yellow Coris Wrasse pair spawn and his Four and Six Line Wrasses spawn together. He hasn't raised them and doesn't plan on it. Follow my trail of links to the original thread by pwhitby.
