Wrasse Compatability

I have a bonded pair of Yellow Coris wrasses (Halichoeres chrysus) and I would like to add another pair of wrasses to my tank. I have a 180 where everyone gets along well, I feel a new addition is going to work well.

My question: I would like some ideas for some reasonably priced species that would pair up and get along with the other wrasses I have.

I am considering trying a pair of Pink Margin (Cirrhilabrus rubrimarginatus) Fairy wrasses as they are a well priced beautiful specimen. Any pros/cons to these guys?

I have two Coris Wrasse, one Tanaka's Pygmy Wrasse, and I plan on adding a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse really soon.
The Fairy Wrasse seem to be more of punks IMO.

Interesting, my fairy wrasse is literally the biggest baby in the tank. Peaceful as can be.

I guess it depends on what fish you have. I have a wimpy firefish and small fish inhabitants so the large fairy was punking the firefish.

Yes, that should be fine.

Agree; typically Cirrhilabrus are rather peaceful. There are a few species which don't fit that mold however.

I'm guessing, you had one of the following: C. filamentosus, C. condei, C. scottorum, C. tonozukai, or C. adornatus?

I would agree and the females are worse than males.
