just woke up to see my eightline flasher and earleri fighting and chasing! Should i remove the eightline flasher or any advice thanks!

ive heard the 8 line can be quite aggressive if already established.
Id remove it for a bit then reestablish it in a acclimation box.

Define "fighting". And what size of tank?

If they're flashing and chasing a bit, I wouldn't worry too much. However, if they're nipping and ripping fins, then you need to take action.

they look similar so the 8 line doesnt know hes a diffrent species. Mine does the same thing

That's good news for me to hear haha and they were doing this chasing and nipping this morning again haha any injuries and out the eightline flasher

I agree with d-man. Take the 8 line out as they tend to be dominate. Keep him out in a QT for about a week, then re-introduce maybe at night after the lights go out. Good luck.
