Originally posted this in "New To Hobby" but wasn't getting much help so figured I'd try with you guys
I stopped in a LFS today to buy a few items, but it's always a habit of mine to look at their livestock even if I have no intentions of purchasing anything
Anyway, I ran into a wrasse, one that I've been looking for but have given up hope on... I THINK it's a FEMALE Tri-Color/Red Headed Solon Fairy Wrasse (C. Solorensis). I asked the manager and he said he couldn't be 100% sure since their distributor now only lists either "Fairy Wrasse" or "Flasher Wrasse" and not the Latin/scientific names (he thought it was a blue-sided wrasse... which it def isn't). I pulled up a picture from Live Aquaria and he agreed that it looked to be C. Solorensis. I snapped some pics with my iPhone so I could post them here and hopefully get confirmation.
I currently have a MALE C. Solorensis - I'm thinking that getting the female would be okay and that they'd get along?
My other fish are:
Pair of Ocellaris Clowns (tank bred)
1x Diamond Goby
1x Neon Cleaner Goby
1x Flame Angel
1x One-Spot Foxface
2x Cleaner Shrimp
With future hopes of a Green Mandarin.
Here's the pics, these are the best ones I could take... The wrasse was sitting nice and happy in the front of the tank, but as soon as I started to take pictures it started swimming all over the place lol...
