Wrasse ID please

Hello,

I got him when he was tiny and i was told that its a rainfords goby. I think its a wrasse but havent seen one like that before.

Could somebody identify it for me? its all black with blue eye on the fin

No problem drukkosz, not much info, but the males are beautiful in my opinion. A little harem would be nice!
 
I would treat them just like any halichoeres sp.. More than likely will eat shrimp and other ornamental inverts when they get larger, but are fairly peaceful toward other fish
 
Thanks again for the info! Harem would be nice but i did some research hand its pretty impossible to buy that fish.
I have few cleaner shrimps in my tank so he better be a nice guy haha
 
I do agree with the ID, but the valid latin is actually Halichoeres marginatus, not that it makes much difference.
 
Really easy to get over here as well which means it should be very easy over there as you guys normally get the pick of the bunch over us.
 
Also to note, anything which traditionally comes via Fiji is going to be hard to find right now, considering the recent cyclone (Evan).
