wrasse in qt has small sparkles? not ich?

So i had 4 wrasses in my 40g qt.. i actually got my leopard wrasse to eat, all were fine, as i brought up salt i noticed they had white dots (not ich though, unless ich appears different on wrasses?) i did lower salinity again and one wrasse is left (this was after 3 died)

thank god for qt tanks!!!! my plan is to add at least two more w him, since imo lfs are 100% diesease

Please describe behavior of the ones that died. What kind of wrasses, what timeline are we talking about? Treatment in quarantine?

okay.. So 4 wrasses total.. a leopard, a black wrasse w yellow tail (forget name), a red xmas wrasse, and an orange sided wrasse (only survivor)

salinity was about 17 when first introduced.. the yellowtail and leopard did not eat until day there but were pretty active.. after that all fish ate.. The xmas wrasse hid/slept the most.. all fish ate for a good 8-10 days.. after that i noticed when turning the lights on that the leopard was taking big breaths laying on sand.. later that afternoon, dead.. same with yellow tail two day later, then finally the red xmas wrasse... no treatment in qt, plan was to get them to eat then add prazi... i usually just use prazi 2-3 times and hyposalinty.. i usually only perform hypo to tangs though.

i did not notice any strange behavior and i did check on them often, often observing for several minutes admiring their beauty.... the specs do have me worried

Lots of details missing. How did you acclimate? What was the shipping SG? What was the quarantine SG? How was ammonia controlled in the quarantine? Were these wrasses shipped to you? If not, what was the source? Timeline does not match that which would be consistent with ich.

i acclimated using the quarter cup method, every 15 minutes.. salinity in the water from the lfs was only 2 points off.. I always take my time to acclimate and have several "difficult" fish for years in my DT.. the qt tank has 0 ammonia as its a tank that has been running over a long period of time, i ghost feed it and also do small water changes. I have a feeling its not ich either.. I will try to take a pic today and upload on here... the wrasse that is currently in the tank seems well besides his small spots... i will try to do a partial water change then use prazipro.. he is still eating well.
